Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas to everyone :)
let's celebrate this day that the lord, Jesus Christ was born on this earth.
sometimes we get too caught up with live that we forget the true meaning of Christmas.
Christmas is not just singing carols and exchanging presents, it's more than that,
very often we are too busy doing our Christmas shopping till we forget that Christmas is to celebrate the birth of Christ.
what is a birthday party without the birthday boy?
how can we celebrate Christmas without Jesus?
CHRISTmas is all about CHRIST.

For those who are not familiar with the Christmas story, here's a brief explanation.
Jesus came down to earth approximately 2000 years ago.
although he is king, he chose to come down to earth in humility.
He came to die for our sin, to redeem us back, for we are all sinners, and thus separated from God. only by the blood of Jesus that we are saved.
Jesus chose to die for you and me even before we are born.
and he has already forgiven all of our sins,
and because of that we are righteous in the eyes of lord.
although we are unworthy,
but God's grace is ever so sufficient.
and because of his love for you,
he gave his only begotten son,
that whoever believe in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
we are washed by the blood of Jesus,
and because of that we have victory over death and we can have eternal life in heaven.
this is a gift from God to you,
you don't have to do anything,
you just have to open your hands and receive it.
there's no terms and condition applied nor requirements required.
it's given freely by the lord.
Do you want to accept this gift?

So let's just thank God for sending his son to this earth for us,
and remember that Christmas is all about Christ.

Dear Form 5's,

"Life is a journey, not a destination," so you've heard so many times.

But now as we have just had our last CF of 2010 and you, your last ever as a student of SMKSJ

I pray you will remember that phrase and always put God as the steering wheel of your journey.

No matter how far away or in how much despair you are in,

Never forget you've got a family back here with us :)

I pray you will continue to be the salt and light to your surroundings.

I pray God will give you guys trials so hard, you can never handle alone so you will look to Him.

I pray for strength, courage and direction to be in you through everything.

I thank God for EACH and everyone of you that have made CF just a little bit more special

By just being there and being you. 

We love you guys and wish you all the best with SPM and whatever is next.

It's Time For Asia.

The World.

South-East Asia.

Have you ever wondered: If the world's so big, and approx 7052639338 people and souls live out there right as you read this, 

Who am I to God?

And have you ever wondered: How small one country esp ours really is? And yet, 

full of potential and not lacking any attention from God. 

Yesterday, while watching the movie I learnt one very important detail to sum it up.

1.  That God has a plan and purpose for Asia.

You may think that all things worth watching and following happens in the west. 

Or even that potential may lie in Asia but maybe just not here, in my country.

We're wrong.

Cause ONE thing that movie proved is God's mighty hand and heart beats for Asia too.

And His heart beats for every single one of us.

Hebrews 12: 1-3

1Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles, and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us. 2Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. 3Consider him who endured such opposition from sinful men, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart.

- Don't care, Lazy, No excitement, CONTENTED.

- Solution?  Open your eyes and have passion.

2. Fear

- Of rejection, failure, discomfort

- Solution? Have courage.

3. Ignorance

- Don't care, blinded by ignorance.

- Awareness [Research]. Don't be left in the dark.

So, What IS Happening?

1. Sex Trafficking

-Kidnapped children

-Is tolerated and growing

-AGE GROUP : 15 - 25 years

2. Modern Slavery

- People affected have no normal life

-No chance and are a chain's best friend

AGE GROUP : 5 - 14 years.

3. Illegal Treatment

-Refugees on the run from war-torn countries etc hoping for ; protection and safety. 

-Put in detention centers and are ; abused, deported, victimised or trafficked.

- Called "Illegals"

'We are considered "Good Man" but when we do nothing we are EVIL. 

All that is necessary for the overtaking of Evil
